The annual Woodward Dream Cruise ramps up with car shows, car parades and entertainment in the area.
State-mandated traffic controls are in effect, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, August 20, the official date of the Woodward Dream Cruise. The state order says no commercial vehicles, any vehicles over 10,000 pounds or vehicles with trailers on Woodward Avenue from 8 Mile Road to the Pontiac Loop.
• Audacy’s WXYZ-TV and WOMC 104.3 FM will be broadcasting live down Woodward Avenue all day on August 20th.

Berkley

• The nonprofit Danny’s Miracle Angel Network (D-MAN) Foundation is seeking help from the community for its 10th annual Dreams Come True on Woodward event. D-Man has a goal of providing 100 Dream Rides for cruises with disabilities.
