STATEN ISLAND, NY — The 42nd Annual Richmond County Fair will continue through Labor Day this Monday, closing out three days of festivities in historic downtown Richmond.
This year’s family-friendly fundraising event, located at 441 Clarke Ave., began Saturday and runs from noon to 7 p.m. Entrance gates to the event are on the corner of Richmond Road and St. Patrick’s Place, and Arthur Kill Road and Center Street.
Tickets for the fair can be purchased in advance through the Richmond Town Historic Website or at the door

Thunderstorms and showers are expected to affect Staten Island on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
However, the Richmond County Fair is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be issued in the event of inclement weather.
Visitors can expect a variety of games, attractions and carnival classics this weekend, including bounce houses, crafts, kids’ contests and more. Some attractions, such as pony rides, cost more.
In addition, there will be food for sale and live music available to guests throughout the afternoon.

There is no parking available on site. Fair organizers will offer free shuttle service to visitors traveling both to and from the grounds from the Staten Island Mall Commuter Lot, located nearby at Marsh Avenue and Richmond Hill Road.
The last shuttle leaves historic Richmond at 7:30pm each night.
