Miranda joined Community Impact Newspaper as editor in August 2017 with the Grapevine/Colleyville/Southlake edition. In 2019 she became editor of the McKinney edition. He also began covering Frisco in 2020. Miranda covers local government, transportation, businesses and nonprofits in those communities. Prior to CI, Miranda served as managing editor of The Prosper Press, The Anna-Melissa Tribune and The Van Alstyne Leader, and previously reported and designed for The Herald Democrat, a newspaper in Grayson County. He graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in journalism in 2014.
