NEWTOWN, CT — The Newtown Police Department invites residents and friends to its “Annual Night Out” on August 2nd from 6 to 8:00 pm at the Newtown Community Center.
The event is free. The PD promises a fun night with them and other city lifeguards, with lots of family activities.
The evening will include music, face painting, K-9 demonstrations, emergency vehicle searches, giveaways, bounce houses, a storage tank and more.
National Night Out is an annual community-building initiative “that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie,” according to the national organization.
The Newtown Community Center is located at 8 Simpson Street.
