23 Fun Fall-Inspired Festivities Happening in Greeley, Loveland, and Surrounding NoCo the Week of September 17-23, 2022


The latter part of September is filled with Oktoberfest and Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, as well as other fun and fall events in Greeley, Loveland and northern Colorado.

Saturday, September 17

1. Loveland’s Oktoberfest begins at 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds Park, 700 S. Railroad Ave. The free event will feature a variety of different beers, German food, live music, games and more for all ages. For more information, go to https://bit.ly/3RDDeg5.

2. Doing a fall purge and have documents that need to be shredded? Then go to the free shred day from 9 a.m. to noon at First FarmBank, 2939 65th Ave. in Greeley. 3. The Poudre Landmarks Foundation hosts its 38th annual Historic Homes Tour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. featuring five private residences and two historic city properties. The tour will focus on the Midcentury Fort Collins neighborhood at Meeker Drive and Buckeye. The cost to participate in the self-guided tour is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the tour. 4. Youth of all ages are invited to participate in NoCo Slammin’ Famine at 8:00 am and 3:30 pm at The Ranch Events Center, 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland. Volunteers attending the event will help pack mobile food packages that will be sent to children in need around the world. 5. Kids Day will take place at 10 a.m. at the Budweiser Events Center, 5290 Arena Circle, Loveland. The free event is hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County and is open to families with children of all ages. The event will have stands and activities from different organizations. 6. The Timnath Fall Festival is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Timnath Community Park, 5500 Summerfields Parkway. 7. Satisfy your sweet tooth by attending the Loveland Chocolate Festival at 11 a.m. at The Ranch Events Center, 5280 Arena Circle. 8. The University of Northern Colorado is hosting a Mexican Independence Day Car Show from noon to 5 p.m. at 1410 20th St., Greeley. Sunday, September 18

9. The second annual Fall Fest is scheduled from noon to 4 pm in downtown Johnstown. The festival will include a DJ, live music, food trucks, a beer garden, vendor booths, pumpkin decorating, a corn hole tournament and more for all ages. There is no cost to attend. 12. The Estes Park Sunday Summer Jazz Series will end at 2pm at Performance Park, 435 W. Elkhorn Ave. with Ritmo Jazz Latino. The Denver sextet features vocals from Cristine Barbosa and music from accomplished artists, all performing various styles of Latin jazz. The concert is free and all ages can attend. 13. Join local musician Gii Astorga for Sunday Funday Music at 2pm at TightKnit Brewing Co., 813 8th St. in Greeley.
