Books and Babies, 10:15 a.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Children ages 0-5 and caregivers are encouraged to attend, but all are welcome. This program is free and open to the public.

Thursday, September 8

Counting Coup in concert, 7:00 pm with native drums and dancers opening the event 6:30 pm, MSU-North Campus on the patio behind Cowan Hall. The concert is open to the public and free with the donation of a non-perishable food item.

Drool in the Pool, Dog Bath Night, 6 p.m., Chinook Pool and Park. Cost is a $10 donation to pool and park rehabilitation efforts. Dogs must be on a leash and have proof of vaccination.

Montana Pollinators Presentation with Hill County Conservation District Emma Korntheuer 10:30-11:45 an overview of Montana’s pollinators, their importance and how to support them in gardens and gardens This free event is open to everyone.

Medicare 101 Presentation, 5:30 to 7 p.m., North Central Citizens Center, 2 2nd St. W. For people turning 65 in the next year or two, to discuss future health coverage with Medicare and enroll in a timely manner to avoid penalties — a free presentation to all interested parties. Outdoor Family Movie Night, 8:30 p.m., Hi-Line Courtyard Boys & Girls Club, 500 1st Ave., featuring “The Fantastic Mr. Fox.” The event is free and open to the community, but please bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Community-wide cleanup, 10 a.m. to noon, with trash bags in the town square and trash cans at 911 11th St. W. and corner of 1st St. and 5th Ave., followed by lunch and a raffle, noon, Town Square.
