KINGSFORD, Mich. (WLUC) – “FlivverFest” returns Friday and Saturday at Lodal Park in Kingsford. The non-profit event has donated more than $100,000 to Kingsford athletics over the past seven years.
Last year more than 3,500 people attended the event. Organizers hope that number will grow.
“Starting Friday night we have a cornhole tournament, which is very popular, at 5 pm CT. We’ll have two more on Saturday at 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm CT,” said Rick Holland, co-organizer of “FlivverFest.” “There will be bounce houses for the kids, plus food and drinks.
Doors open Friday at 2:30pm CT and Saturday at 1:30pm CT. Tickets are $10 per person or $25 for a family. Tickets allow entry on both days.
