Summer in the Capital Region is full of things to do, on and off the track. Every day, there is plenty to choose from from horse racing, live music, festivals, fairs and theatre.

SELECTION OF THE DAY
Jazz singer Stacey Kent will perform two shows at Caffe Lena, one at 5pm and the other at 8pm. Tickets cost between $35 and $70.
ON THE FLIGHT OF SARATOGA
Alta Havana performs on the Purdy Summer Concert Stage at Saratoga Racecourse. We open doors at 11 am

IN ANOTHER PART
The Washington County Fair continues from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm with entertainment, 4 hours of exhibits, food, music and rides at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Admission is $15 for a day pass.
The Black Theater Troupe of Upstate NY presents “Flyin’ West” at Proctors’ GE Theater at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $22.50.
Bassist Victor Wooten, along with 6-string fretless bass virtuoso Steve Bailey and drummer Derico Watson, will perform at The Egg at 7:30 tonight. Tickets are $36.
