After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the city of Osseo plans to make the most of this year’s Night to Unite event on Aug. 2. Night to Unite includes bounce houses, hot dogs and ice cream, emergency vehicle tours, and most importantly, a chance to connect with neighbors.
Officer Tony Mortinson of the Osseo Police Department says Night to Unite is designed to help bring people together.
“The main concept and why we came up with this years ago was that everyone knows each other on their own block, but do people in the northeast section of town know people in the southeast? The idea was to bring people together in a centralized location and being able to converse,” explained Mortinson.
Officer Mortinson urges residents to attend and bring any questions they may have about crime or neighborhood issues to him and other officers.
The event will take place on August 2nd from 5pm to 8pm in downtown Osseo.
