Homer Lee Rittenberry III, 35, of Clarksville, died Sunday, July 24, 2022.
Homer was born on September 28, 1986 in Clarksville, TN. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and cooking for his family. Homer was a good-hearted soul and would do for anyone. He had a heart of gold.
To Mr. Rittenberry is survived by his parents, Charles “Pops” Jones and Debra Reynolds Jones; two children, Mariah Rittenberry and Preston Lee Rittenberry; three siblings, Lisa (Jeff) Cooksey, Christina Rittenberry (Brett Lyons) and Amanda Rittenberry (Joshua Gonzales); maternal grandmother, Henrietta (Dan) Burress; paternal grandmother, Sally Rittenberry; aunts, Virginia Adams and Melissa Roberts; uncles, Timothy Rittenberry and Dwayne (Amanda) Morrison; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Rittenberry, Jr.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home Chapel, with Dan Burress officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, at the funeral home.
