If you think bounce houses are just for kids, you haven’t experienced anything like it Big Bounce America. The inflatable theme park is in town this weekend and runs through Sunday at the Ellms Family Farm in Ballston Spa.
The crown jewel of the grouping is the huge castle filled with slides, balls, foam, a puck and 16,000 square feet of space to bounce, play and even relax (bouncy chairs are built into the ‘attraction). This inflatable Goliath has been certified by Guinness World Records as the “world’s largest bouncy (bouncy) castle”. It’s also incredibly visual and makes a great backdrop for photos and videos.
You’ll also find The Giant, which is essentially a 900-foot-long obstacle course. The last time Big Bounce was in town, friends lined up to run through the 50 different obstacles in an attempt to brag about crossing the finish line first.
Rounding out the attraction are airSPACE and Sports Slam. The first is a space-themed blast full of aliens, spaceships, moon craters, ball pits, a five-lane slide and more.
Sports Slam is a sports hall, complete with goals, nets, hoops and all different types and sizes of balls. Climbing and “battle zones” round this one off where you can compete against family and friends to see who can stay on the podium the longest.
