Several crowd-favorite bands from past editions of the Ohio Fish and Shrimp Festival will return for encore performances on the 20th OFSF Outdoor Stage on three consecutive Saturdays, the 10th, 17th and 24th September
The festival, at Freshwater Farms of Ohio, one mile north of Urbana at 2624 NUS 68, also offers festival-goers a delicious selection of food and beverages from numerous vendors, including seafood prepared by Freshwater Farms of Ohio.
The festival, which includes activities for the whole family, will be open every day from 10am to 10pm. Parking is free with $5 gate admission, ages 13 and up; $2 for children ages 3-12; and free for children under 2 years old. Admission provides access to live music, as well as the farm’s sturgeon petting zoo, fish and creature exhibits, bounce houses, games, arts and crafts vendors, and the children’s play area.
Festival goers can enjoy the food and music at tables and chairs set up in front of the outdoor stage, some under tents. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. The returning bands represent a variety of genres, including traditional and contemporary rock, country, blues, salsa, jazz, and Celtic music. (See below for music lineup.)

-Kids’ activities: various bounce houses and slides, livestock displays including sturgeon petting zoo, touch tanks, hand trout feeding (carts quarters), Pirate Treasure Sand Dig, “John Darts” toss game and National Alliance for Mental Health balloon animals for donation

-Freshwater Shrimp Sale, September 17, 10:00 a.m. until sold out, near front gate and farm retail store
-Craft beers, wine, margaritas and other drinks at Charlie’s Bar
– Six- and 12-ounce pours of mead from Feisty Brood Meadery, Northfield, Ohio, served at the bar, 1-9 p.m. daily
-Shrimp eating competition, September 17, from 3 to 3.30 p.m
-The Freshwater Farms of Ohio Farm Market
– Champaign County Farmers Market vendors, in the afternoons
