On Saturday, the town of Vaiden will hold its annual Vaiden Fall Heritage Festival. The festival will be from 10 am to 5 pm in the center of Vaiden.
There will be vendors, food and family fun for everyone. Barbara Williams, with the Vaiden Activities and Recreation Committee, said vendors can reserve spaces until Friday. He said all the power points are gone, but there are still some spots available.
“If you come on Saturday, we’ll find a place for you to set up,” he said. Williams said there will be bounce houses set up at Vaiden Playground where children can enjoy the bounce houses as well as swinging and playing in the park. He said there will also be someone who will arrange horse rides for the children.
He said DJ Marlo Givens, the Cobbins Singers, Indianola’s Foxy Lady and a singer from Pearl will be the festival’s entertainment. He said that Foxy Lady and the Pearl musician do a mix of genres, and there will be something available for everyone. Williams said there will be fun for everyone to enjoy.
“Come out, socialize, grab a bite and have a good time,” he said.
