BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Police Department invites residents and friends to its second annual Night Out, Aug. 2, 4-8:30 p.m., at City Hall.
The event is free. The PD promises a fun night with them and other city lifeguards, with lots of family activities.
The night will include a home run derby, face painting, potato sack races, tattoos, tug of war, K-9 demonstrations, helicopters, NARCAN training, bounce houses, a escape tank, raffles, food and , of course, cornhole. .
Live music will be provided by Bluesy Land.
National Night Out is an annual community-building initiative “that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie,” according to the national organization.
Brookfield City Hall is located at 100 Pocono Road.
