BEACHWOOD, Ohio — The Mandel Jewish Community Center is inviting the community to its free health and wellness open house to be held from 9 am to 2 pm on July 10. The Mandel JCC is located at 26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood.
Attendees can enjoy all The J’s offers at no cost. People who become J’s members during the open house will have access to J’s facilities, free of charge, for the rest of July.
Activities on July 10 will include fun family activities; an open gym, with bounce houses; bicycles; balls; and mats
The health checks, carried out by the staff of the University Hospitals, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Screenings include blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol.
Attendees can exercise for free using the full fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, track, and pickleball and racquetball courts.
In addition, the event will include group exercise classes. The classes will include Cycling, at 9:30 a.m.; yoga, at 9:35 a.m.; WERQ, at 9:45 a.m.; and beginner tai chi, at 11 a.m
