SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Shops at Heavenly Village has partnered with the South Tahoe Chamber to offer the South Shore’s largest free trick-or-treating event for kids on the South Shore, with a $1,000 costume contest on Dec. 31 October Halloween, from 3 pm 7 pm
“Having safe trick-or-treating for the kids in our community is vital,” said Gary Casteel, CEO of Trans Sierra Investments, The Shops at Heavenly Village. “I’m so proud of all the stores and organizations that volunteered and agreed to endorse it. bringing out candy for the kids. It’s really going to be an amazing event.”
The event will include over 50 candy stalls from all the businesses in the village and multiple local community organizations, bounce houses, slides and rides, zombie DJs and live music from Ted Kennedy and residents. Plus, live LOFT theater screening, a specially decorated Halloween matinee by Magic Fusion at 4:30 p.m.
South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue with their fire truck and the South Lake Tahoe Police Department, who will be handing out candy and stickers.
“We want to thank the Shops at Heavenly Village for hosting the event and the businesses in the village for rising to the occasion for our community. The South Tahoe Chamber is honored to support,” said Duane Wallace, CEO of the South Tahoe Chamber.
A $1,000 costume contest is also scheduled on the main stage at 6:30 p.m., based on different categories for children. The Shops at Heavenly didn’t forget about the mothers who take care of their little elves. There is also a “witch walk”. Dress up mom to impress in your best Halloween costume for a chance to win great prizes.
“We don’t do anything small at Heavenly Village,” said Dreu Murin, event organizer. “I want this to be the best and biggest trick or treat event to ever hit the south coast. The kids in our community deserve it! I want to thank the shops in the village and everyone who is supporting to our children”.
The event is free to the public from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Heavenly Village.
