Save the date for family fun at the third annual Cicero Street Festival, sponsored by Boathouse Kitchen and Swan Dive, on Saturday, August 27.
The event, organized by Our Town Cicero, will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. on Jackson Street. Activities include a disc jockey, a cornhole contest, bingo, tailgating, Nickel Plate Express van rides and a variety of products from local vendors and artists.
Families can take advantage of the free bounce houses in the children’s area, sponsored by Lisa Stokes Bear. Children are also encouraged to join the Sidewalk Chalk Contest, made possible by Sherri Trachtman.
The festival will also feature performances by the Hamilton Heights Band at 4 p.m., Hamilton Heights Middle School Robotics at 5 p.m., and Laura Hayden’s School of Dance at 6 p.m.
Those looking to enjoy dining at the festival can choose from Dan’s Fish Fry and locally owned food trucks like Sin Fronteras, The Love Bug, Wilson’s Farm Market and more.
“The Cicero Street Festival is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate our vibrant downtown,” said Cicero Main Street President Dagny Zupin. “We are proud that this year’s street festival will showcase and help raise money for so many after-school clubs in Hamilton Heights.”
The Ciceró Street Festival is free and open to the public.
