La Capella de la Creu will host the 43rd annual Country Day on Saturday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event kicks off with a 5K that starts at 8am. Doors open to the public at 9am. The day will include a Makers Market. with feature vendors from around the state, Chapel Attic and Country Store, including the 63-egg pie, homemade bread, jams, jellies and other sweets. Other activities include a ride, games, petting zoo, bounce houses, live music, wine tasting and a silent auction. Admission is free, with parking at $5 per vehicle.
