Observed annually from September 15 to October 15, Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the large, vibrant and diverse Latino culture and community. Although the holiday begins with Mexican Independence Day, the celebration lasts all month, offering Las Vegas visitors opportunities to see top Latin stars on stage, engaging cultural events, and the best Latin cuisine on offer a culinary mecca. Here’s a look Las Vegas Hispanic Heritage Month 2022 cultural events and shows.

Cultural events
The Neon Museum
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, the Neon Museum will offer special gallery talks every afternoon through Saturday, October 15th during general admission (by guest request) to highlight the various historical stories behind the signs and properties that relate specifically to Hispanic Heritage Month.
The museum also offers tours in Spanish every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.
The historic fifth street school
The City of Las Vegas presents the “20th Anniversary Art Exhibit: Celebrates the Consulate of Mexico in Las Vegas” through Friday, November 11th at the Mayor’s Gallery at the historic Fifth Street School.
The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, features original artwork created specifically for the exhibit to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Consulate of Mexico in Las Vegas.
The HONOR Latino awards
The HONOR (Honrando Orgullosamente Nuestras Obras y Raíces) Latino Awards celebrate the achievements of community leaders and pioneers who have made outstanding civic achievements and contributions to the Las Vegas community.
A digital eventthe celebration will honor the work and roots of the recipients on Thursday, October 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Las Vegas East Party
The East Las Vegas Fiesta, scheduled for Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is free and open to the public.
The East Las Vegas Community Center will offer entertainment, games, face painting, food trucks, community vendors, a children’s play area with bounce houses and more.
The Las Vegas Book Festival
Just outside of the official National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Las Vegas Book Festival will take place on Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will feature Hispanic-focused programming, including appearances by Latino influencers such as author Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodríguez and the musician. Lucky Diaz at the historic Fifth Street School.
The Las Vegas Book Festival has programming for all ages, including panel discussions, activities and workshops.
Shows
Continuing his long residency, music legend Carlos Santana will act a House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino from Wednesday 21 September and from Friday 23 September to Sunday 25 September.
Texan/Northern band Untouchable Group will act a The theatre at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on Saturday, October 1.
The Noticea Mexican rock band made up of three sisters from Monterrey, will take the stage at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas at The LINQ promenade on Friday, October 7.
Star And Thousands will take the stage on Friday, October 14 at The theatre at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
Colombian singer Karol G will act a T-Mobile Arena on Friday, October 14.
