Crookston Ox Cart Days was back on the downtown square with bounce houses, a giant Slip-n-Slide, food trucks, ax throwing, a misting station and fire pits for making s’mores. While people enjoyed the events and food, local band, Downtown Horns, played music.
The Crookston Ox Cart Days Rotary Duck Drop was also held in the downtown plaza, where rubber ducks purchased at Crazy Days and other events were dropped from the ladder of a Crookston fire truck into a kiddie pool , where three ducks would be selected to be the winners. The Rotary Club of Crookston hosted the event, with all proceeds going toward UMC scholarships, Crookston High School scholarships and community beautification.
The winners and prizes of the event were as follows.
1st Place: Mark Proulx ($500)
2nd Place: Kevin Thompson ($300)
3rd Place: Megan Proulx ($150)
