DAVISON TWP. – The Davison Township Police Department held its first National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 2 at the Lake Callis Recreation Complex, 1152 N. Gale Rd.
Davison Township Police Chief Jay Rendon and police officers from his department were there to greet the community as they provided games, bounce houses and a magician for the kids.
Police cars and equipment, such as the department’s new drone and patrol bike, were on display for people to see and ask questions about the officer’s present.
There was also a food truck and volunteers from Gift of Life Michigan were on hand to educate the public about organ donation. — GOOD GAME
