(PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ) — The Board of County Commissioners and Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. will host this year’s annual celebration. Passaic County Fair from August 12 to 15 in the Garret Mountain reserve. The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m.
This year’s fair will feature four days of unique activities for everyone to enjoy, from games and attractions to artistic activities and environmental excursions. Plus, there will be pony rides, bounce houses for the kids and more. Also, “Family Night” is Thursday, August 12th, where customers can purchase a $20.00 wristband for unlimited fairground rides. The four-day celebration will also feature two fireworks displays on Friday, August 13 and Saturday, August 14.
The County Fair stage will feature a wide variety of local musicians. Some of the bands on this year’s list are Craig Redmond and C-Dreams, Grand Theft Audio, Naughty Humphrey and The Kootz. Live music will be complemented by a beer garden and some of the best food in Passaic County.
“We are very excited to bring the Passaic County Fair back this year. It’s an annual highlight of the summer for our residents, visitors and vendors. With lots of carnival rides, food trucks and carts, activities, local businesses and pop-up shops, live music, performances and fireworks, there is something for everyone,” said Passaic County Commissioner Director Pat Lepore. “We invite everyone to come out for some summer fun at our long-awaited fair atop our beautiful county park, Garret Mountain Reservation.”
Admission to the fair is free, parking at the Passaic County Fair is $5.00 per car. All proceeds from the fair benefit the Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. for future programming, park improvements and preservation projects throughout the Passaic County Park System.
