The world’s largest bounce house is coming to Albuquerque.
Starting Friday, March 18th and running through Sunday, March 20th, “The Big Bounce America” will be taking up residence at Balloon Fiesta Park.
“The Big Bounce America” is the largest inflatable tourism event and features four massive inflatable rides.
“How many people can say they’ve bounced off something that’s in the Guinness World Records,” says Dex, the event’s tour manager. “It’s such a fun event for the family.”

The quartet of inflatables includes:
• The 16,000-square-foot “World’s Largest Bounce House,” which is 32 feet tall at its highest point. The inflatable has been certified by Guinness as the world’s largest bounce house. Inside, visitors will find giant slides, ball fields, climbing towers and basketball hoops alongside fun, cute and big characters in various colors, shapes and sizes for those all-important Instagram moments. At the center of this dreamland is a custom-made stage where the resident DJ keeps the party going, organizes games, contests and plays music adapted to each age group.
• The newly added “Sport Slam” featuring a custom sports hall full of goals, nets, hoops and balls of all sizes and types. There are also special areas for climbing and a “battle zone” where you can have a competition to see who can stay on the podium the longest.
• An obstacle course over 900 feet long called “The Giant.” It features 50 different obstacles to overcome before making your way to the ultimate sliding monster.
• A unique space-themed area called “airSPACE”, which is full of aliens, spaceships and moon craters. There’s also a five-lane slide and a 25-foot inflatable alien at the center of the action, three ball courts and its own maze where one can literally get “lost in space.”
Aside from the large inflatable areas, Dex says what makes the ride unique is that there are different set times for groups.
One of the sessions is the children’s session which will only be for children from 3 years old. Parents and carers can also join.
Next is a junior session for children aged 7 and up. This also includes parents and carers.

The third is the session for older children from 15 years old.
The last is the adults-only session for visitors aged 16 and over. A ticket allows access for three hours to one of the sessions.
“We designed this to be as familiar as possible,” says Dex. “The area is open air and is large enough for everyone to be able to distance themselves. When people see the whole setup for the first time, they’re shocked at how big it is.”
Since March can be a windy month for Albuquerque, Dex says there are plans if the weather is a factor.
“We plan for the wind season and our own tolerance,” he says. “We work with a weather forecasting company that predicts ahead and behind us. We are a rain or shine event, although wind and lightning are business breakers.”
