Clay County — Clay County’s Touch A Truck event will be held on Saturday, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with quiet hours from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Lights and sirens will run from 11 a.m. to at 2:00 p.m. Families will be able to get up close and personal with municipal, county and state vehicles and equipment. Visitors will have hands-on access to fire trucks, ambulances, cranes, a helicopter and more! First responders and equipment operators will be on site to answer questions and show how the vehicles are used every day in our communities.
There will also be a free children’s activity area with water slides, bounce houses, bungee jumping and a climbing wall and food trucks.
