Celebrate the National Holidays this Friday, September 16


PASADENA, Calif.—The big party is back! Join us on Friday, September 16th from 5-9pm at the Villa Parke Community Center, 363 E. Villa St., as we celebrate the independence of 18 Latin American countries in style.

This family event highlights the colors, richness and warmth of Latin American culture.

Enjoy the coronation of the queen and court by City officials, the flag parade, children’s activities, live music by New Northern Dimension, and traditional dances, including folkloric ballet performed by local community groups. Children’s activities include a small children’s area, bounce houses and crafts Arts Armory Center. Don’t miss “El Grito”, a recreation of the historic battle cry that marked the beginning of the Mexican War of Independence, headlined by the Mariachi at 8 p.m.
