In an effort to continually update the pregame environment, the South Dakota Athletics Department is excited to announce enhancements to the game day experience outside the DakotaDome.
COYOTE ALLEY: The grassy area directly north of the tennis courts has been renovated to serve as the center of pregame festivities, dubbed “Coyote Alley.” Coyote Alley will host musical entertainment, food trucks, vendors, yard games and more at each game. This area is free to the public and will be home to alumni, Coyote Sports Properties and student tailgate programming.
LIVE MUSIC: Leila’s Rose will headline as the musical guest for the home opener on September 17th and Kobe Jordan is scheduled to take the stage on September 24th.
FOOD: At each game there will be food trucks with food and refreshments for purchase. Fans can also bring their own drinks.
FAMILY FUN: Family-friendly programming can be found at Coyote Alley, including bounce houses and game-by-game meet and greets with Charlie and the teams.
PARKING: The “Yellow Lot,” located directly south of the Holiday Inn Express, is now a cash-only lot. Entry will be $10 per car and $20 per RV. Any fan can purchase a spot in this lot, and tailgating is limited to the space directly behind your vehicle. This lot may be closed in adverse weather conditions.
INDIVIDUAL REAR DOOR SEATS: Grass tailgate sites, located on the north side of the DakotaDome and south of the practice fields, are available for $100 for the season and $50 per game. Vehicles may not park on these grass sites, but tailgate accessories may be left.
