CLEARWATER, FL – It’s that time of year again. Pumpkin products are popping up on shelves and pumpkin spice milk is making a comeback on beverage menus across the country.

But maybe you want the real deal, a real pumpkin, in your home this season. Whether you’re planning to bake a cake, carve a lantern, or just add a festive touch to your tilt, there are plenty of places to pick up a pumpkin near Clearwater.

Here are a few suggestions:

Klausmeyer Farm and Pumpkin, 8135 S. 119th Street W., Clearwater. Opening day is September 18. Open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturdays, the farm is open until 10pm for zombie paintball, a 5-acre maze and the haunted barn. The cost is $10 per person on weekends and $8 on weekdays without the maze, and $13 per person with the maze on weekends and $10 on weekdays.DK Farms & Nursery Fall Festival, 1750 Lake Ave. SE, Largo. The festival will take place from 8 to 9 October, from 15 to 16, from 22 to 23 and 29 October. In addition to the pumpkin patch, there will be pony and bull rides, scenic rides, bounce houses, miniature golf, a train ride, crafts and food vendors and more. Everyone 2-1/2 feet tall and under can enter for free. Tickets for everyone taller than that are $10 early bird, $12 during the fall presale and $14 at the door.Pumpkin Patch on the Pier in St. Peteopen from October 8 to 16, from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. More than 5,000 pumpkins will be installed in a traditional pumpkin park under the Bending Arc net structure.
