With the music and beer night on September 10, Mint Hill Events decided to combine the event with the family fun night on September 17, to end the summer with a night of entertainment for all ages. Sarah Brock and her staff at Pour 64 handled ID checks for beer drinkers, while Town Brewing, Triple C and Eleven Lakes served up some of their best-selling and seasonal drafts.

Located just outside of Charlotte, a mile from the ballpark, Town Brewing Company just celebrated its fourth anniversary. “We’re pushing expansion and distribution outward and really looking at the Mint Hill area,” said sales director Brandon. “Sarah carries many of our beers here at Pour 64, and you can find us at some Harris Teeters.” Town Brewing delighted the crowd with Spratt’s, their premium golden ale, and Broken Tarted, a raspberry hibiscus sour.

Triple C Brewing Company, located in the South End, has been a staple in the Charlotte community for the past decade. “We end up here pouring and representing the South End!” Denver said. “Right now we have an Oktoberfest, a Märzen beer; and then we have our 3C IPA, our core West Coast IPA. Both have 6% alcohol, both very smooth and easy to drink beers. Perfect for this kind of weather!”

Food trucks were located on the east side of the football field offering a variety of food from Thrasher Dawgs, Chilaka Taco Lab and A Little Taste of Chicago. Sprinkles, Mama K’s Kettle Corn, I Scream for Ice Cream and Sammy’s So Good helped satisfy customers’ sweet tooth! Such a wide variety of food vendors and brewers made for short lines.

For every person who scanned Mint Hill Wil’s QR code and submitted their information to their agency to request a quote, Wil donated $10 to the Mint Hill Scholarship Fund.
