With the arrival of haunted season, area haunted houses and Halloween attractions are getting ready to open.
Here is a list of attractions for the 2020 Halloween season, along with details on whether they are open this season:
WARRIORS HAUNTED ASYLUM
What: Warriors Haunted Asylum has three floors of terror to explore throughout the month of October.
When: From 19:00 to 22:00 on Fridays and Saturdays in October, opening on September 30; and from 7 to 9 p.m. on October 27. Family Day is 10am to 1pm on October 1, $5 admission.
Where: N5758 Fond du Lac County W, Mount Calvary
Entry: Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at hometowntickets.com. Blackout nights are $15 at the door.

HAUNTED HICKORY HILLS GOLF CART RIDES
What: This family-friendly seasonal favorite takes participants on a Halloween-themed ride. Food and hot chocolate are available, and adults can enjoy the bar while they wait in the clubhouse.
When: Tours are available from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on October 7-8, 14-15, 21-22 and 28-29 October.
Where: Hickory Hills Country Club, W3095 Hickory Hills Road, Chilton.
Entry: Admission is $15 for adults and $9 for children 13 and under.

TERROR ON THE RURAL STREET
What: Terror On Rural Street claims that spirits remain and that “if you’re brave at heart, head down to Terror on Rural Street Haunted House and see if you can survive the creatures we create and the spirits that remain.” The website warns that it may be too intense for children.
When: From 18:30 to 22:30. Fridays and Saturdays, from September 30 to October 28. October 29 is a dark night.

Entry: $15 General Admission, $25 VIP Fast Pass

DOMAIN OF TERROR
What: The Dominion of Terror is a non-profit haunted house run and funded by the Sheboygan Jaycees. New this year is an escape room.
When: Fridays and Saturdays, from September 30 to November 5. Children’s matinee from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. October 22.
Where: 2024 N. 15th St., Sheboygan
Entry: $15 general admission, October 7-8 is a throwback weekend when tickets are $10. The escape room is $10.

WINDIGO FEST
What: A full weekend of live music and other entertainment around the legend of the Windigo and the supernatural. Vendors of food, crafts, clothing, jewelry, antiques and more.
When: The site opens at 5 pm on September 30 and at 10 am on October 1 and 2
Where: Manitowoc County Expo Center, 4921 Expo Drive, Manitowoc
Entry: $25 includes all three days.

ALL HALLOW’S EVE
What: Costumes are welcome at this family-friendly 1890s-style event. There will be bonfire retelling of legendary Halloween stories, activities and wacky characters roaming Pinecrest Village. Enjoy Victorian-era entertainment including fortune telling, crafts, games and more.
When: 3 to 6 p.m. October 15
Where: Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road, Manitowoc.
Entry: $10 adults, $7 children 4-17 and free for children 4 and under and MCHS members.

HAPPILY ENCHANTED GARDENS
What: Bookworm Gardens will be lit up with thousands of twinkling lights. There’s no trick, but the kids will walk away with a bag of goodies. This event is familiar and not scary. wear costumes Concessions available.
When: 5 to 8 p.m. October 15-16, 20-23 and 27-30
Where: Bookworm Gardens, 1415 Campus Drive, Sheboygan.
Entry: $15 general admission, $10 Sheboygan County residents, free for children 2 and younger and Bookworm members.

ZOOLOWEEN BOO
What: Come in costume and enjoy trick-or-treat stations, bounce houses, Halloween concessions, games, crafts, prizes, pets and more.
When: October 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m
Where: Menominee Park Zoo, 520 Pratt Trail, Oshkosh
Entry: $5 adults, $3 ages 2-17, free for 1 and under. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Oshkosh Parks Department.
