AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn football fans looking to catch an in-person preview of the Tigers will have the opportunity to do so on Saturday, Aug. 27 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Labeled “The Auburn Family Football Preseason Kickoff,” fans can enter Jordan-Hare Stadium for an open practice that is scheduled to begin at 2pm CDT.
The event will begin at noon on the green space outside the east side of the stadium. Appearances by Aubie, members of the Auburn University Marching Band, the UA Cheerleaders, the Tiger Paws and the Southeastern Raptor Center are scheduled.
For the kids there will be bouncy houses, tailgate games and face painting. The event will include free posters and agenda magnets. It will not include the traditional autograph sessions with the football players and coach.
The stadium gates are scheduled to open at 1:00 p.m. Auburn officials are asking fans to sit in sections 24-34 on the east side. A free match day bag policy will apply for those entering the stadium.
Parking for the event will be available at Auburn Arena, Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum and the campus security lot.
Auburn will open its season with five straight games at Jordan-Hare Stadium beginning with a Sept. 3 game against Mercer.
