From a red carpet premiere, an outdoor shopping market, and a brunch that includes bottomless mimosas, there’s plenty to do this weekend in Springfield.

Red carpet premiere
Dress up and watch the exciting red carpet premiere of Holes in the Sky: The Sean Miller Story.
The film opens at 8 p.m., Friday, at the Hoogland Center for the Arts, 420 S. 6th st. Doors open at 19:15
Holes in the Sky: The Sean Miller Story explores the journey of a documentary film crew detailing the four-day 2013 disappearance of Illinois resident Sean Miller. At 19:45 there will be a red carpet show with the actors

Walk to end Alzheimer’s
Walk with a cause Saturday at the Springfield Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Erin’s Pavilion at Southwind Park, 4965 S. 2nd Street.
At 9:30 a.m. there will be a recognition ceremony for people with Alzheimer’s, caregivers and people who lost someone to the disease. There will also be a live band, dance and cheerleading performances, therapy dogs, face painting, a photo booth and more. .
The walk starts at 10 am

Artisan and antiques market
Find something special at the Brinkerhoff Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday.
Market hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm and take place at the Brinkerhoff Mansion, 1500 N. 5th Street.
More than 150 vendors, food trucks and bakers will participate in the market. There will also be a children’s area with a magician, balloon artist and face painting.

Celebrate autumn
The First United Methodist Church of Springfield will host a fall festival Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at 2941 S. Koke Mill Road.
Festivities include pumpkin decorating, a bonfire, bounce houses and a petting zoo. The screening of the 2017 Disney film ‘Coco’ will begin at dusk.

Autumn Brunch
Sip and be entertained on Sunday at It’s All About Wine’s third annual Fall Drag Brunch.
Brunch starts at 10:30am Sunday and continues until 1:30pm at 1305 Wabash Ave.
Mahogany Knight and other local drag queens will perform. Admission includes bottomless mimosas and brunch.
