Pottawatomie County Community Renewal
Pottawatomie County Neighborhood Block Leaders will host a community-wide block party on Tuesday, October 4th. The idea is a party, many places.
There will be 13 block parties throughout the community that will be held that night from 6 to 8 p.m. Each party will have its own twist, from bounce houses to yard games to a desert swap.
Neighborhood Night Out is inspired by National Night Out, a national event designed to bring the community and police together.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Benchmark Realty provides water for each party; in addition, Extreme Inflatables has partnered with the non-profit on the bounce houses and the City of Shawnee will coordinate street closures.
For those interested in hosting a block break or hooking up with a nearby party, please email grace@communityrenewal.org.
