HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – The Harrisonburg Police Department has announced Wednesday evening’s Cookout with a Cop event at Ralph Sampson Park has been canceled due to the imminent possibility of thunderstorms and inclement weather.
HPD wants to make sure it’s a safe and fun event for everyone. High winds, rain and bounce houses are not a great combination. The grill is also not good.
The makeup date will be Tuesday, August 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m
