JAMESTOWN, ND (NewsDakota.com) – Hundreds of Jamestown and Stutsman County residents connected with local emergency officials and agencies serving the area.
Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger says National Night Out is a community-building campaign to promote police-community partnerships. Held on the first Tuesday in August of the year, its aim is to improve the relationship between residents and law enforcement while recovering a true sense of community.
Jamestown Police, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Township and Rural Fire Departments, Jamestown Area Ambulance, North Dakota Highway Patrol, North Dakota Game & Fish and other partners set up at McElroy Park with bounce houses, food and a foam pit for entertainment. families
