As an annual activity for the summer International Days celebration, a children’s parade was organized on Saturday morning, starting at 9:45 a.m
Youth and their families were encouraged to meet in the parking lot next to Mont Harmon High School to line up behind the fire truck. Then they paraded on foot, by bike, by scooter, by stroller and more to the parks to enjoy Children’s Day.
The Children’s Day event is organized each year by Castleview Hospital, giving local youngsters the chance to enjoy bounce houses, activities, stalls and treats that focus exclusively on them. Free snow cones were also available for the first 300 children in attendance.
Local organizations, businesses and entities including Price City Library, Meaningful Mindz, Castleview Hospital, Children’s Justice Center and Den and Jen’s bouncers were on hand with lots of activities and prizes for attendees.
