Effective March 4, 2022, until repealed: Order of the Mendocino County Health Officer rescinding the use of masquerade in indoor public settings by all persons in response to the rise of COVID-19 and the spread of the Delta variant. Strong recommendation to continue with inner masking at this time. However, indoor masking is still mandatory in certain settings, such as schools, healthcare settings and public transport. Music in the gardens
Sunday, July 31 is Grand Music in the Botanical Gardens, presented by Symphony of the Redwoods. At noon, virtuoso clarinetist Roy Zajac will perform Mozart and Gershwin and additional pieces with a string quartet. At 3 p.m., vocalist Christiana Valentin will present a program of tango music with her three-piece ensemble for listening and dancing. Both concerts are free with Garden Season Pass or Gardens Admission.

Fort Bragg Vaccine Clinic
On Mondays, Mendocino County Public Health at 120 West Fir Street in Fort Bragg offers all vaccines, including third doses for the immunocompromised and boosters. Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed from 11:45 to 12:30 for lunch. Sign up for an appointment at MyTurn.gov. A parent or legal guardian must print and sign a minor consent form for the Pfizer vaccine. Check to confirm that the clinic is open on public holidays. Fort Bragg National Night
On Tuesday, August 2, the Fort Bragg Police Department will host its annual National Night Out at Bainbridge Park from 5 to 8 p.m. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and camaraderie neighborhood to make our neighborhoods safer. , more supportive places to live. Fort Bragg COVID Testing
COVID testing is available at Fort Bragg outside the Veterans Building on Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:45 PM. The location is 383 North Harrison Street.
Tuesday in the Carpa
Every week they are Tuesdays at the Mendocino Coast Clinics Tent from 2 to 5 p.m. All vaccines are available, including third doses for immunocompromised people and boosters. It’s a car in the white tent on the north side of the clinic, no appointment required. Boosters are now available for children age 12 and older if it’s been at least 6 months since their second dose if they got Moderna or Pfizer, or at least 2 months if they got Johnson & Johnson. Parental consent is required for anyone under the age of 18 to receive a vaccine. Please follow all traffic signs and directions for the vaccine clinic on Tuesday, and do not arrive early.

Fort Bragg COVID Testing
The Mendocino Coast Clinic offers free COVID surveillance testing (for people without symptoms) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays. They are different tests and are processed differently. If you have symptoms, call the Clinic at 707-964-1251 for an evaluation and to see if you need to be tested. If you have been exposed, please wait 3-4 days before asking to be tested. You won’t get a true result if the test is done too soon after exposure. The location is 205 South Street.
Albion Food Pantry
The food pantry will be open on Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It is located in Albion, behind the Albion Grocery and the US Post Office.
