Petersburg Back Field Country Bash returns for second year – mix 94.7 KMCH

Petersburg will host another concert this Labor Day weekend.

It’s the Back Field Country Bash, back for the second year in a row. The event was created last year to celebrate Petersburg’s 150th birthday with a parade and concert featuring the Confederate Railroad, and it was such a success that the Petersburg Commercial Club decided to throw another party at the ball of diamonds this year.

Commercial Club member Dale Boeckenstedt says everyone is welcome to come out this Saturday night, September 3rd.

The Petersburg Back Field Country Bash will also feature H&H Rides, bounce houses and a tractor for kids, along with food and drinks. Bring your lawn chairs.

Everyone is encouraged to park around Petersburg, with shuttles taking people to the event at the Diamond Ball. Reserve the church car park for people with reduced mobility and the elderly.

Tickets will only be available at the box office this year. Cost is $25, with children ten and under free.
