WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Polk State College will host the return of its annual FallFest after a two-year hiatus related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the school announced Wednesday.
More than 100 local businesses and college clubs will set up booths throughout the Winter Haven campus featuring seasonal and homemade arts, crafts, and products.
“This is an event the community has looked forward to every year,” Nancy Lozell, director of programs for The Arts at Polk State, said in a statement. “There’s always a great variety of arts, crafts and things to do.”
The event is free and open to the public with family-friendly activities including games, haunted houses, bounce houses, shows and presentations by local law enforcement and EMS. Polk State College athletic clubs and programs will also participate to raise money for their organizations by hosting different activities and food sales.
All proceeds will go to the Polk State College Foundation to benefit students at the school.
FallFest will be held on Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m
