It’s almost time for Pumpkin Patch Palooza. For the seventh year, St. John’s Lutheran Church is hosting this fun fall festival on Saturday, October 8th from noon to 3pm on the church property at 221 Walnut Street SE.
Pumpkin Patch Palooza features many free activities, including children’s games, bounce houses, straw rides and more. In addition, there is a Farmer’s Market, Food Silent Auction and a food stand with hamburgers and hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy and pressed apple cider.
The popular Pie Eating Contest is back again and starts at 2 p.m
Those who enjoy wearing costumes are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero. The theme was chosen to honor our local superheroes: the Sleepy Eye Police Department, with all proceeds going to SEPD to help purchase cameras for Sportsmen’s Park.
