AMSTERDAM – The City of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Department of Tourism, Marketing and Recreation will present their sixth annual RiverFest tomorrow (Saturday, August 6) from 1pm to 9pm at Riverlink Park. Attendees are welcome to spend a beautiful day and night along the Mohawk River where they can shop and enjoy delicious food, live music and a spectacular fireworks display! Attendees will enjoy live music MedRock at 14:00 and the headliner Marco J. Johnson at 7:00 p.m.
This year’s attractions include more than 50 vendors, along with free bounce houses and other inflatables for the kids. The day begins at 1 p.m. with vendors, a children’s zone, face painting, food trucks and crafts. The Amsterdam X-Squad Water Ski Show will hit the water at 1pm and 5pm.
Immediately following Marco J. Johnson’s performance, attendees will enjoy a spectacular fireworks display over the Mohawk River. In addition to sponsoring RiverFest, Sticker Mule will also hold a job fair on site, along with lawn games, free swag and a chance to win an iPad or one of several $150 VISA gift cards.
