(PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ) — The Passaic County Board of Commissioners and Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. will host the annual celebration Passaic County Fair from August 11 to 14 in the Garret Mountain reserve. The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 11 at 7:30 p.m.
The fair will have four days of unique activities for everyone to enjoy, from games and attractions to artistic activities and environmental excursions. Plus, there will be pony rides, bounce houses for the kids and more. “Family Night” is Thursday, August 11th, where customers can purchase a $25.00 wristband for unlimited rides at the fair. The four-day celebration will also feature three fireworks shows sponsored by SHI and United Federated Systems on Thursday, Aug. 11, Friday, Aug. August 12 and Saturday 13 at 9:30 p.m.
The County Fair stage will feature a wide variety of local musicians. Some of the bands on this year’s list are Garret Mountain Boys, Big Beat Band, Grand Theft Audio, Naughty Humphrey and The Kootz. Live music will be complemented by a beer garden and some of the best food around the county.
“The Board of Commissioners is proud to return and support the annual Passaic County Fair. The County Fair is an annual highlight of the summer that our residents, visitors and vendors look forward to each year, and we are excited to everyone to enjoy the various carnival rides, games, food trucks, small local businesses, live music and performances. fireworks and a host of other activities the fair has to offer,” said County Commissioner Director Passaic, Bruce James. “It’s an incredible four-day event and proceeds go back into supporting the quality of life for our residents through the Passaic County Parks System.”
Admission to the fair is free, parking at the Passaic County Fair is $5.00 per car. All proceeds from the fair benefit the Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. for future programming projects, park improvements and preservation of the Passaic County park system.
