$28,000 TO GET BACK TO LITTLE LEAGUE – Former Decatur Major League Baseball President Eric Scott Fletcher will repay $28,000 to the league as part of a recent settlement with prosecutors after he pleaded guilty to felony theft from the league. Fletcher pleaded guilty to theft of property between $30,000 and $150,000 and paid $10,000 in restitution, according to the Wise County District Attorney’s Office. The other $18,000 will be paid back during the five-year probation/deferred award period he received as part of the plea agreement. Investigators say Fletcher used league money to make personal purchases over a period of years before his arrest in August 2019.
