If you’re looking to have a little more fun before school starts, County Wexford Airport has you covered.
There will be dozens of cars and planes to check out, with more flying throughout the day at the second annual Wings and Wheels event.
Things will kick off at 8am with a pancake breakfast for the riders, then lots of fun with a DJ, bounce houses, food trucks and more.
Organizers say it’s all about making aviation more accessible.
“A family time to expose the younger kids to aviation, airplanes and even the Experimental Aircraft Association who will be having displays here,” said Wexford County Airport Acting Manager David May . “Trying to do it to try to attract the younger crowd, to, again, just attract interest in aviation and what future and what kind of careers might be available to them.”
Wings and Wheels will take place on Saturday from 10am to 4pm at Wexford County Airport.
