After missing the last two summers due to Covid, Jenison’s Rosewood Park will once again offer plenty of downhill slides on Saturday.
The Giant Slip-N-Slide will provide 100 feet of fun
The Saturday Slip-n-Slide returns after a two-year absence on August 13. The event will grace the hills of Rosewood Park from noon to 5 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for Never The Same Youth Ministry. Tickets are just one dollar and a FastPass ticket is also available for ten dollars.
The Ministry will also sell tickets for the raffle until 3pm on Saturday, offering a variety of prizes including a Grand Prize, a 5-night all-inclusive vacation for 2 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Canta, Dominican Republic. This trip includes 5-star accommodation, 9 restaurants, water sports and resort entertainment.

Four giant slides will provide thrills and spills
As in past years, four 40-foot by 150-foot tarps will roll down the Soccer Bowl hills at Rosewood Park, providing fun for kids and adults alike.
For younger kids, there will also be a kiddie water park, Bounce Houses and Dunk Tanks at the event.
Volunteer first responders and EMTs will be on hand along with dozens of volunteers.
The event started in 2012, so this year is the tenth anniversary of the fundraiser, if you don’t count the last two years.
