It’s been a little over a week since students started back at the University of Northern Colorado for the 2022/23 school season.
The annual Family Fest/Bears Bash, sponsored by The Greeley Tribune and UNC Athletics, introduces students and their families to the university’s athletic programs by hosting a fun outdoor event with activities, meet and greets and more.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the football practice fields next to UNC’s Nottingham Field at 17th Avenue and Reservoir Road. Some of the activities featured at the event will include mobile ax throwing, UNC athlete autograph sessions, batting cages, balloon arts, bounce houses and more for all ages.
A variety of local vendors will be in attendance to educate attendees about the services and products offered in the community.

Among the vendors scheduled to attend the party are Brick Top Grill, Latino Fraternity Group, Northern Colorado Nightmare Football, Sun Run Solar, The Resource Center and Weld County Garage.
The free event is open to all ages and parking is available around the field and football stadium.
