Saturday, October 29 will include all things pumpkin, starting with a pumpkin carving party on the Smith’s Marketplace patio from 10 am to 12 pm Hosted by the Los Alamos Arts Council, participants can carve their Jack-o- Perfect lanterns with the tools and templates provided. The first hundred participants will receive a free pumpkin, provided by Smith’s, and the finished pumpkins will be transported to White Rock for the Pumpkin Glow and Show, which will take place from 4 to 9 pm at Overlook Park. This year, with a new location and expanded activities, the Pumpkin Glow and Show will feature live music, bounce houses, food and fireworks, along with a display of creatively carved pumpkins.
