Country music star Lauren Alaina has a new record label. Independent label Big Loud Records announced the signing of the platinum-selling artist, Grand Ole Opry member and Rossville native last week. “We feel that Lauren is absolutely one of the best vocalists, male or female, in this city,” Big Loud CEO/Partner Seth England told Billboard. “She’s certainly been successful, but we humbly think she’s barely scratched the surface of what we think we can do together. Lauren Alaina deserves to be, in my opinion, on the same pedestal as Carrie Underwood, and it’s our job to help. she finds that mode.” Alaina described Big Loud to Billboard as her dream label. “I had a label that matched my personality: big, loud and country,” he said. “I really want to tap into my country roots. I don’t think people remember how southern I am, I’m a country girl anyway.” In addition to her musical success, the entertainer has starred in a Hallmark movie, written an Amazon bestseller and appeared on CBS’ “Beyond the Edge” and ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
